Three Generations of Auto Body Service in Concord, NH
With over 50 years of service, Guimond’s Auto Body is a well-known and respected auto body shop in Concord, New Hampshire. Founder Albert Guimond opened the doors to the shop in 1971 at the age of 24. He quickly developed a reputation for quality work and service throughout Greater Concord.
Our senior tech Bruce joined Albert in the shop in 1972 and is still with us 53 years later. While the business continued to grow, Albert and his wife Judy raised their family in the Concord-Bow area. Before long, their sons Jeff and Joel became interested in the business. Albert took his boys under his wing, teaching them the ins and outs of the industry. Following countless hours of observation and hands-on training with their father, Jeff and Joel started working full-time in 1989 and 1991, respectively. When Albert retired in 2020, Joel and Jeff took the helm.
The second generation of Guimond's grew the business, continuing the same great service, and building upon their father's legacy. Albert often helped at the shop—always willing to lend a hand where needed and share his extensive industry knowledge. With a long history of exceptional auto body repair work and service, the shop had second generations of customers come through its doors.
Today, the third generation of Guimond's is now part of the business, with Jeff’s sons Matthew and Jonathan working in the shop alongside him and Joel. Joel’s daughter Lexi is also part of the family business, operating its auto detailing center. Albert and Judy still stop by the shop for lunch each week to catch up with the family and see how things are going with the business.
Guimond’s Auto Body offers nearly 200 years of collective auto body repair experience and an enduring commitment to unparalleled customer service. Since 2005, we have been voted “Best Body Shop in Concord” in the annual Concord Monitor Cappie Awards. Over the last 50 years, we’ve satisfied hundreds of area car owners with our services.
